A. Role Objective To lead the enterprise-wide HR function by driving strategic workforce planning, talent development, culture transformation, and HR governance, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and Tata Group standards. B. Key Responsibilities 1. Enterprise HR Strategy & Leadership * Define and execute a long-term HR strategy aligned with organizational growth, diversification, and project pipeline expansion * Act as a key advisor to MD/CEO and Board on people-related risks, workforce planning, and leadership capability * Drive organization design, restructuring initiatives, and capability building across corporate and project sites 2. Talent & Leadership Capital Management * Build a robust leadership pipeline through succession planning and leadership development frameworks * Oversee strategic hiring for critical and niche roles across real estate, infrastructure, and project functions * Institutionalize performance management systems aligned to business outcomes and accountability 3. Culture, Values & Organizational Effectiveness * Drive a high-performance, ethics-driven culture aligned with Tata Group values * Anchor diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization * Lead employee engagement strategy to enhance productivity, retention, and employer brand 4. HR Governance, Risk & Compliance * Ensure adherence to labour laws, statutory frameworks, and Tata Group governance standards * Establish strong HR controls, audit mechanisms, and process standardization across all entities * Drive risk mitigation in areas such as employee relations, contractor workforce, and compliance exposures 5. HR Operations & Shared Services * Oversee end-to-end HR lifecycle processes including onboarding, payroll, benefits, and separation * Ensure seamless HR service delivery across corporate and site-level operations * Build scalable HR shared services and operating models for efficiency and consistency 6. HR Technology & Digital Transformation * Lead the HR digital roadmap, including optimization of platforms such as Oracle HCM, PeopleStrong, and analytics tools * Drive adoption of data-driven HR practices, dashboards, and predictive analytics * Evaluate and implement AI-led HR solutions for automation, employee experience, and decision-making 7. Compensation, Rewards & Workforce Cost Management * Oversee compensation structures, benchmarking, and reward strategies aligned with market competitiveness and internal equity * Lead annual compensation cycles, incentive frameworks, and cost optimization initiatives * Ensure financial discipline in workforce planning and HR budgets 8. Employee Relations & Industrial Relations * Manage complex employee relations matters with a governance-first approach * Oversee IR strategy, particularly for project and site-based workforce environments * Ensure structured grievance redressal mechanisms and disciplinary frameworks 9. Stakeholder & Group Alignment * Collaborate with Tata Group HR forums and align with group-level policies and frameworks * Partner with business heads, finance, legal, and external stakeholders (consultants, vendors) * Act as the primary HR interface for Board reviews, audits, and governance discussions C. Key Deliverables / Success Metrics * Alignment of HR strategy with business growth and expansion plans * Leadership bench strength and succession coverage for critical roles * Improvement in employee engagement, retention, and productivity metrics * Strong audit outcomes with zero high-risk compliance gaps * Measurable efficiency gains through HR digital transformation * Cost optimization in workforce planning without impacting capability D. Candidate Profile Education * MBA / Postgraduate in Human Resources from a reputed institution Experience * 18–25+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant exposure in leadership roles * Experience in real estate, infrastructure, EPC, or project-driven organizations preferred * Proven track record of leading HR transformation at an enterprise level Skills & Competencies * Strong business and financial acumen * Expertise across all HR domains (Talent, OD, IR, C&B, HR Ops, Digital HR) * Experience working with Boards and senior leadership stakeholders * Strong governance, compliance, and risk management orientation * Proven experience in HR technology and analytics transformation E.
