ACG_3245_JOB Our client is a leading retail company in Vietnam who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm: A. People Strategy & Organization Design Develop and execute a multi-year HR strategy aligned with the company’s business plan, store expansion roadmap, and omnichannel strategy. Design and optimize organizational structures for head office, retail network, and distribution centers to ensure agility, cost efficiency, and clear accountability. Partner with the CEO and EXCO to drive strategic workforce planning (FTE, part-time, seasonal staff) to support peak seasons and business volatility. B. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Build a robust talent acquisition engine for both volume retail hiring (store staff, supervisors) and critical leadership roles (HQ functions, regional managers). Drive employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in the retail sector. Oversee recruitment SLAs, quality-of-hire, and time-to-fill metrics; ensure strong hiring pipelines for store openings and new business formats. C. Performance Management & Total Rewards Lead the design and implementation of performance management frameworks (KPIs, OKRs) aligned with commercial and operational targets (sales, shrinkage, NPS, productivity). Build competitive and sustainable compensation & benefits structures for store and office populations, including incentive schemes and sales commissions. Ensure internal equity, market competitiveness, and compliance with local regulations. D. Culture, Engagement & Employee Relations Shape and role-model a high-performance, customer-centric, and values-driven culture. Lead engagement surveys, action planning, and ongoing listening mechanisms, with a strong focus on frontline employees. Oversee industrial relations and employee relations, ensuring fair, transparent, and compliant handling of grievances and disciplinary matters. E. Learning, Leadership Development & Succession Define and implement learning & development strategy for all levels: entry-level retail staff, store leaders, functional experts, and senior management. Build structured career paths and succession plans for critical roles (Store Manager, Regional Manager, Functional Heads). Design leadership development programs to strengthen the internal talent bench and reduce dependency on external hires for key roles. F. HR Operations, Systems & Compliance Oversee HR operations, including HR policies, payroll coordination, workforce administration, and HR service delivery. Lead digitalization of HR processes (HRIS, attendance, scheduling, self-service, analytics) to support multi-site retail operations. Ensure full compliance with labor laws, health & safety regulations, and internal policies across all locations. G. People Analytics & Executive Reporting Establish HR dashboards and analytics to track key people metrics: headcount, attrition, productivity, manpower cost, engagement, etc. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board to support strategic decisions. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree is preferred. 8-10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role (HR Director/CHRO or equivalent). Strong exposure to retail, FMCG, or multi-site operations (must-have or highly preferred). Scaling organizations and supporting rapid store/network expansion. Leading large frontline workforces (blue-collar, part-time, shift-based). Designing performance & reward frameworks tied to commercial outcomes. Driving culture transformation and engagement.
