Description
At Qred, we’re building the bank for small businesses. Since launching 10 years ago, we’ve grown from startup to profitable fintech scale-up, now generating over 1 billion SEK in annual revenue and supporting 50,000+ entrepreneurs across Northern Europe. We combine smart technology, real data, and human judgment to make financing simple, fast, and fair. With bold growth plans and strong momentum across multiple markets, we’re now looking for a CHRO to lead our People & HR function through the next phase of growth. About the role With Qred’s 2030 vision in mind you will set strategic direction in close collaboration with our co-founder/CEO and executive team. You are expected to engage in all business discussions but especially drive the people agenda end-to-end. As our next CHRO, we believe your main focus will be on leadership development, people growth, culture and Talent Acquisition. Together with our ambitious HR team, you will build modern, data-driven, and business-oriented HR practices - while also being a trusted hands-on partner to managers in complex people topics. You’ll also spend time: Setting and executing the overall people and HR strategy Strengthening leadership, performance, and talent density across the company Driving culture, engagement, and change initiatives to support fast growth and expansion Ensuring scalable, compliant, and business-focused HR in a regulated environment Building strong people analytics, KPIs, and decision support Lead and develop our HR team of 5 - two HR Generalists (part-time payroll), two TA Partners and one Office & Event Manager Qred is a relatively small company (currently 250 employees), so the tasks will span from highly strategic to hands-on practical questions. What we’re looking for We’re looking for a senior HR leader who combines business mindset, analytical sharpness, and strong people judgment. You’re comfortable operating at executive level while staying close to reality in the organization. You likely bring: 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within tech, preferably fintech Proven track record of leading high-performing HR teams Strong experience in change management, culture and leadership development Hands-on work with performance management Experience driving talent acquisition strategy and workforce planning Experience with org design and reorganization initiatives A strategic but hands-on working style A data-driven and business-oriented approach Good knowledge of Swedish labour law and preferably union dialogue Fluent English and Swedish, written and spoken Experience in regulated businesses, Comp & Ben, L&D, payroll, AI-enabled HR processes, DE&I, or governance work is considered a plus. Why Qred? Real impact for real entrepreneurs A profitable, product-driven fintech scale-up with strong growth Flat organization and fast decision paths A team that values speed, accountability, and smart solutions over bureaucracy One last thing This is a full-time, permanent position based in Stockholm. Don’t wait to send in your application, we are reviewing applications on a rolling basis. While the start date is flexible, the right candidate can join us immediately.
