Job Details Job Location: Corporate 0AV58 - Bowling Green, KY 42103 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 4 Year Degree Salary Range: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 Salary/year Travel Percentage: Up to 25% Job Shift: 1st shift Job Category: Executive Role Description: The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will be the thought leader for all information systems and technologies for the agency. Additionally, the CIO will be responsible for organizing all sources of data in the information systems to create useful and actionable information and knowledge. Among the responsibilities of the CIO will be to work with the regional IT leaders to choose and program software to maximize needed data and information. Additionally, the CIO will coordinate with regional leaders, service leaders, and the quality and risk managers to create accessible and useful tools for managing operations. The CIO will report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Accountabilities: In collaboration with the COO and other senior managers, develop an annual information management plan that is linked to LifeSkills’ strategic and operational objectives. Collaborate with regional Executive Directors and IT leaders to evaluate the current software and the system’s capabilities to meet the information needs of all staff. Work with senior management and regional leadership to develop useful tools to evaluate all potential software purchases. Responsible for agency-wide information systems network and infrastructure, including security. In collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer and COO, work with the Board of Directors’ leadership to identify areas to assist with useful information for governance decision-making. Provide high level project management leadership for all major software purchases, as well as input into hardware purchase plans. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, business management, or related field. A Master’s Degree is preferred. At least five years of experience providing successful information technology services for a human services agency. At least two years’ experience as a successful CIO for an organization with a budget of at least $100 million. Documented experience developing software information tools that were accessible and useful to the agency’s management.
