Given the ongoing development of our firm, we are currently recruiting:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in the legal industry is highly desirable.

  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse IT team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior management and stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory compliance
  • Perfect command of English and French , both spoken and written.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the firm’s business objectives. Provide visionary leadership to drive digital transformation and innovation.
  • IT Operations Management : Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Technology Innovation : Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance the firm’s competitive edge. Lead initiatives to integrate cutting-edge technologies including generalisation of Artificial Intelligence, into the firm’s operations.
  • Cybersecurity & Controls : Ensure the protection of the firm’s data and IT assets through partnership with Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures and controls.
  • Budget Management : Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources. Monitor and control IT expenditures to achieve financial objectives.
  • Vendor Management : Establish and maintain relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership : Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support for professional development, and act as a trusted leader.
  • Compliance : Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including financial regulatory requirements, DORA, GDPR and other data protection laws. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior management including Arendt partners and other stakeholders to understand business needs and provide IT solutions that support the firm’s goals. Communicate IT strategies and initiatives effectively to all levels of the organisation.
