TITLE: CHIEF INSPECTOR

We are a Part 145 Repair Station dedicated to being a one-stop destination for aircraft maintenance, structural repairs, and upgrades. Our team of experienced aviation professionals is committed to exceeding customer expectations in every aspect of aircraft care.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Experience with Gulfstream GIV-G700, Bombardier Challengers, Globals, or Dassault Falcons preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) required.
  • Must pass background check and drug/alcohol screening.
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Allentown, PA area.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise all personnel assigned to the inspection department.
  • Develop and implement inspection standards, methods, and procedures in accordance with all applicable FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with production staff, Team Leaders, and Technicians to ensure accurate documentation in work order packages.
  • Ensure major repairs and alterations meet all regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Oversee incoming, hidden damage, preliminary, in-process, and final inspections for compliance and accuracy.
  • Verify that RII inspections are conducted only by properly trained and qualified personnel.
  • Ensure all offsite maintenance complies with the Repair Station Manual.
  • Maintain current instructions for continued airworthiness, service bulletins, and related technical data for reference by maintenance and inspection personnel.
  • Review aircraft logbooks, AD and SB research, and ensure compliance with required incoming inspections.
  • Audit inspection and maintenance work packages for accuracy and completeness.
  • Generate maintenance record entries per 14 CFR Part 43 and all applicable manuals.
  • Evaluate and document equivalency of non-standard tools and equipment.
  • Audit and track maintenance contractors prior to use.
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with the training program.
  • Supervise and support staff working under the repair station certificate.
  • Ensure proper execution of FAA Form 337 and maintenance release documentation.
  • Conduct final review of work orders and supporting documentation.
  • Submit required reports of serious failures, malfunctions, or defects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Accountable Manager.
