Description
We are seeking a skilled Chief Maintenance Engineer to join our hotel team. The Chief Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the safety and comfort of hotel guests and team members by ensuring proper functioning of all equipment and systems within the hotel, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel maintenance and possess a strong understanding of building systems and equipment.   Responsibilities: * Perform routine maintenance on all hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. * Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance in a timely and professional manner. * Perform repairs and troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems as needed. * Maintain accurate records of all maintenance performed and equipment serviced. * Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards. * Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems as needed. * Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on energy management, preventive maintenance, and capital planning. * Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work and establish performance and development goals for team members.  * Educate and train all team members in compliance with national and local laws and safety regulations.
