Position Title   Chief Manager - Forest  Position Summary   Responsible for co-ordinating and managing corporate affairs  for Renewable BusinessPosition Demands   Travel as and when required.Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities   Planning: Create customized accelerated plan for each project for obtaining Forest and Wildlife (F&WL) clearance to ensure on-time project delivery. Planning of budget to maintain Cost efficiency. Cross functional coordination   Execution: Provide technical support across the Project, supporting Forest and Wildlife team by ensuring robust execution of end-end process as per guidelines for timely availability of Forest & Wildlife Clearances as well as Working Permission by achieving First Time Right (FTR). Ensure strict Environment, Forest and Wildlife compliance of states and MoEF&CC. Explore and identify other levers to crunch timelines. For example - pro-active alignment with forest officials and outsourcing agencies, wherever required to expedite work in case of bandwidth shortage. Strengthen communication strategy by close co-ordination with the Forest officials at different levels for timely and speedy processing of proposals. Candidate should be well conversant about Rules, Regulations and process to obtain Forest, Wildlife and CRZ clearances. Should be well conversant about bidding process i.e., Area assessment, budget preparation, risk assessment etc w.r.t Forest & Wildlife proposals for linear projects. Should be well conversant about preparation and submission of the Forest & Wildlife proposals on PARIVESH. Monitoring: Quality checks of Forest & Wildlife proposals before each submission to ensure all requirements for proposals have been fulfilled to achieve first time right. Support COE cell to Develop and Review the Environment, Forest and Wildlife Plans, Policies and Legal Frameworks.
