Chief Marketing Officer – B2C/D2C

Presently, we are embarking on the search for an experienced Chief Marketing Officer who embodies innovation, marketing expertise, and exceptional leadership. You must have B2C/D2C marketing experience with SAAS/technology platforms. You should be a creative and strategic thinker who possesses a proven history of leading, building, and scaling marketing efforts for a dynamic organization.

If you’re our new Chief Marketing Officer, you will look forward to engaging in activities such as:

  • Spearheading the vision and strategy for a dynamic B2C/D2C digital marketing ecosystem that drives the entire customer journey — from creating buzz and generating awareness to cultivating lasting engagement and loyalty with consumers.
  • Shaping and leading the company’s B2C/D2C digital content strategy to produce exceptional, SEO-optimized content that amplifies brand messaging, attracts high-quality consumer traffic, and elevates our global brand presence.
  • Guiding the creation of captivating, brand-aligned content across all B2C/D2C digital channels, ensuring it’s consistently on-brand, engaging, and impactful at every touchpoint for consumer audiences.
  • Architecting a user-first strategy for B2C/D2C marketing optimization across our website and digital platforms, driving seamless user experiences, higher conversions, and increased search engine visibility with a focus on consumer behavior.
  • Diving deep into customer insights to decode their needs, preferences, and behaviors, using this knowledge to create marketing strategies that resonate with consumers and drive results.
  • Setting bold, data-driven goals for the marketing team, closely tracking progress, and making agile, performance-focused adjustments to maximize impact within the B2C/D2C landscape.
  • Harnessing the power of data and analytics to fuel continuous evolution in B2C/D2C marketing efforts. Uncovering growth opportunities and driving constant optimization for consumer-facing initiatives.
  • Leading, inspiring, and nurturing a high-performance marketing team, cultivating a culture of creativity, innovation, and relentless data-driven decision-making.
  • Optimizing affiliate marketing strategies to drive growth and success in the B2C/D2C marketing space.
  • Demonstrating a strong understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and trends. Knowing how to leverage AI to drive success in B2C/D2C marketing efforts.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Technology, and Customer Service teams to ensure a seamless, integrated experience across every touchpoint.
  • Managing and nurturing relationships with key external partners and vendors to amplify our B2C/D2C marketing efforts with the support of top-tier agencies and technology providers.
  • Cultivating a culture of experimentation and bold ideas, empowering the team to test new approaches, learn, and evolve our marketing strategies with agility and excitement.

Your accomplishments thus far:

  • Ten or more years of experience in digital marketing leadership roles, with a proven track record of B2C/D2C marketing success. Experience with SAAS/technology platforms required.
  • Deep expertise in B2C/D2C digital marketing channels and tactics, including paid search, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and more.
  • Collaborative and cross-functional mindset, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Passion for staying up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA is a plus.

This is a remote based position. We are currently inviting residents of California, Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington to apply for this position.

Salary Range: $200,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience and expertise. This figure represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the potential salary for this role. Salary and whole compensation package to be determined by the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. We may offer a salary outside this range to an exceptional candidate.
