Description

Equity Prime Mortgage is seeking a full-time Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to take EPM to the next level of growth by leading our marketing strategy and execution to drive loan acquisition, strengthen broker relationships, and align internal culture with external brand. This role requires deep mortgage industry expertise combined with proven digital marketing excellence to scale a company moving billions in loan volume annually.
The CMO will collaborate directly with executive leadership and internal stakeholders to develop and execute marketing initiatives that support aggressive growth targets while fostering internal engagement and industry thought leadership.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can confidently navigate rapidly shifting priorities and constructive feedback, and consistently delivers high-quality, deadline-driven work.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Technical Skills
  • Expert proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing automation tools
  • Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making with experience in marketing attribution and ROI analysis
  • Proficiency in SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing
  • Experience with marketing analytics platforms (Google Analytics, etc.)

Industry Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of mortgage lending processes and regulations
  • Knowledge of broker channel dynamics and relationship management
  • Familiarity with mortgage loan products and competitive landscape
  • Understanding of compliance requirements for financial services marketing

  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to direct and motivate remote teams

Education, Training, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree in Marketing or Business preferred
  • 10+ years of marketing experience; 7+ years in senior leadership role (VP or higher)
  • 5+ years of mortgage industry experience (wholesale, retail, or correspondent)
  • Proven track record managing marketing budgets of $1M+ annually
  • Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation preferred
  • Ability to travel for industry events and broker meetings (15-20%)
