This role calls for an experienced, ambitious, and strategic leader with a proven track record of designing and executing impactful marketing agendas at scale. The ideal candidate is a seasoned C-level executive with deep digital marketing expertise, a sharp analytical mindset, and a strong grasp of customer acquisition, performance marketing, brand storytelling, and customer communication across modern e-commerce platforms. A hands-on approach, paired with the ability to empower and inspire high-performing, cross-functional teams, is key to success. More than a brand builder, the CMO will be a growth catalyst - bringing structure, creativity, and operational excellence to a multi-brand, multi-market setup. With a focus on performance, innovation, and customer retention, the Chief Marketing Officer will be instrumental in shaping how our customers experience and connect with our brand today and in the future.

YOUR PROFILE

We are seeking an experienced, ambitious and strategic leader with a proven track record in driving marketing agenda, brand building in e-commerce. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned CMO with strong digital marketing expertise, a sharp understanding of customer acquisition and communication across modern e-commerce channels, and a hands-on approach to leading high-performing teams.

  • Leadership: Extensive experience in senior marketing leadership roles, ideally as a CMO in fast-paced, high-growth e-commerce businesses.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling consumer brands in digital-first environments.
  • Deep understanding of traffic acquisition strategies, channel performance metrics, and modern e-commerce channel mix (including SEO, SEM, Social, Display, CRM, Affiliate, and Influencer Marketing).
  • Experience in the travel industry is a strong plus but not a strict requirement.
  • A bold thinker with a hands-on mindset, who can combine strategy with flawless execution.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Experience across the DACH region is essential.
Responsibilities
  • Strategic Budget Ownership: Define, manage, and control the full marketing budget in close alignment with the CEO and CFO. Allocate resources effectively across channels, brands, and markets to maximize business impact and drive sustainable growth. Ensure full transparency, accountability, and cost-effectiveness in all marketing-related spending decisions.
  • Marketing Execution & Performance Management Translate the overall business strategy into actionable marketing plans that achieve and exceed defined KPIs. Execute and oversee the annual and quarterly marketing roadmap, including campaign orchestration, media planning, product marketing, and audience targeting. Ensure consistent execution and monitoring of key initiatives across all markets, with clear metrics, ownership, and impact tracking.
  • Brand Leadership & Market Positioning Build, lead, and scale a high-performing, cross-functional marketing organization that combines strategic thinking with operational excellence. Take ownership of recruitment, team structure, and personal development of marketing talent at all levels. Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration across teams and departments.
