Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of screening mammographers delivering high-quality standards.
  • Foster a respectful and caring environment, delivering the best outcome for all patients.
  • Oversee quality assurance activities as specified by the BreastScreen National Accreditation Standard (NAS) and Royal Australian and New Zealand College Radiologist (RANZCR) requirements.
  • Work with mammographers in the north western region and oversee the rotation through assessment clinics.
  • Teach and supervise work up tomosynthesis mammography and procedures including biopsies.
  • Lead the team through ongoing education and training on new technology.
  • Liaise and work closely with clinical and allied health team members.
  • Actively participate in BSV quality assurance meetings and other program activities.
  • Deputise for the Program Manager as required.
