Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As the COO/CNO, you will lead nursing, ancillary, and support departments, driving hospital operations and ensuring the highest quality patient care. Collaborate with operational leaders and medical staff to implement strategic plans, recruit and retain top talent, and spearhead initiatives for quality and patient satisfaction. Work closely with the CEO to develop strategic growth initiatives that align with regional and system-wide goals, becoming an integral part of the PNMC executive leadership team and actively participating in regional efforts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Leadership in Development and Operations: Guide the execution of PNMC’s key initiatives and daily operations, ensuring excellence and efficiency.
  • Physician Alignment: Create strong, competitive physician alignment models across the care continuum.
  • Strategic Growth Management: Drive strategic growth, restructuring services to align with the Oregon Region’s Triple Aim.
  • Resource Utilization: Identify and leverage resources to support PNMC’s growth strategy amidst economic challenges.
  • Expansion Management: Oversee the expansion and remodeling of PNMC facilities, enhancing the environment for excellent patient care.
  • Data Optimization: Optimize information systems, ensuring the availability of accurate data for informed decision-making.
  • Outpatient Growth: Develop effective backfill strategies to support outpatient services expansion.
  • Reputation Management: Uphold PNMC’s reputation by ensuring high satisfaction among patients, physicians, and employees.
  • Work Environment: Cultivate an attractive environment to attract and retain skilled staff and physicians.
  • Clinical Program Enhancement: Plan programs with specialists to strengthen clinical offerings.
