Description CIFC Health a program of the Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. seeks a full-time or part-time Chief Psychiatrist / Chief of Behavioral Health to provide leadership to the adult and pediatric behavioral health departments. Under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, this position is responsible for the direct supervision of Psychiatrists, Psychiatric APRNs, RNs, Administrative Coordinator, while maintaining a reduced individual patient panel, evaluating and treating patients with mental & behavioral health disorders at CIFC Health. The position is responsible for direct overall operations of the Health Center’s behavioral health departments. Ability to travel to sites of integrated care within Danbury, CT, Board Certified in Psychiatry or completion of any ACGME accredited training program acceptable for board certification by ABPN. Must curretnly hold and/or qualify for a CT medical license. Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply. Requirements Requirements: Successful candidates must possess or be able to obtain a Physician’s license and CSR from the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health. Board certification or the ability to become certified is required. Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention, brief assessments, and individual psychotherapy preferred. At least 2 years’ experience and previous supervision is required.
