Description

ABOUT YOU

Your mindset, drive, and ability to push projects forward and amplify the founder at scale matter more than any specific credential. What counts is your ability to combine strategic thinking with deep execution, to hustle, and to deliver impact fast.

It’s likely you’ve gained experience in one or more of the following environments:

  • Top-tier consulting or investment banking
  • Venture capital or early-stage investing
  • High-growth B2B SaaS or other tech scale-ups
  • Fast-moving start-up environments where commercial traction was built from scratch

Beyond pedigree, we’re looking for someone who:

  • Has proven ability to both structure strategy and deliver results under pressure
  • Is not afraid to sell - you can engage senior stakeholders, challenge objections, and close business
  • Operates with presence, clarity, and precision - comfortable in front of investors, founders, and C-level customers
  • Is autonomous and relentless - you don’t wait for direction, you create it
  • Is ambitious to grow quickly into a senior commercial leadership role
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We need somebody who can operate beyond the typical Chief of Staff remit. You should blend strategic leverage for the founder with direct commercial execution. You will operate at two levels:

  • Driving high-priority strategic initiatives (fundraising, investor relations, commercial strategy, company building).
  • Personally leading our first go-to-market motion – building pipeline, running outreach, negotiating, and closing deals.

The role demands someone with consulting-level rigour and founder-level ownership. You will be expected to create clarity where there is none, move projects forward without instruction, and deliver commercial results fast.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Act as a force multiplier to the founder – prioritising and executing key company-building initiatives.
  • Own the first commercial pipeline end-to-end: from market mapping and lead generation to pitching and closing lighthouse customers.
  • Build GTM processes that scale – CRM, playbooks, reporting.
  • Pressure-test positioning, pricing, and business model with real customers.
  • Ensure commercial insights directly shape product development.
  • Step into strategic projects as required: fundraising, financial modelling, partnerships, operational scaling.
