We are now looking to hire a Chief of Staff to join our team. We are seeking a highly driven, commercially astute professional to work closely with our Co-Founders on the smooth running and scaling of our UK and US offices. This is a fast paced, high impact role that will suit someone who thrives in a dynamic, execution focused environment.
Job Description

Work closely with the Co-Founders on any tasks required for the smooth running of the business, such as:

• Act as the point person for operational matters not covered by business development, research operations or policy teams, including unplanned or urgent situations and special projects.

• Lead major operational projects as required, e.g.:

• • Setting up a new office or subsidiary
• Administering processes around acquisitions or restructuring
• Support ongoing fundraising activities, investor relationship management, and investor reporting.
• Support CEO and VP Business Development on go-to-market research and planning.
• Prepare materials (with VP Global Communications and CEO) for investor updates, board meetings and investor pitches.
• Manage corporate administration, including Companies House filings, EIS compliance, and US equivalents.
• Draft company policies in collaboration with other senior operations and science team members.
• Ensure that information and best practices are propagated throughout the organisation.
• Oversee operational aspects of UK and US offices, including:

• Space planning and allocation
• AV setup and maintenance

REQUIREMENTS

Essential Criteria

• Strong commercial acumen.
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, high growth environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven track record in operations, strategy, or chief of staff type roles.Ability to travel between Phasecraft offices and elsewhere.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in the Deep Tech sector.
• Experience supporting international expansion and operational scaling.
• Experience working across UK and US business environments.
• Exposure to fundraising processes and investor relations.
• Prior experience in office setup, contract negotiations, or large scale operational projects.
