Description
How to express interest Send 3–5 bullets on the hardest multi‑threaded project you’ve shipped, plus one page you’ve written to drive a decision. Introduction CSBio opened our cGMP peptide production facility in Menlo Park in 2014 and in 2017, we passed a FDA inspection and were recommended to be approved for commercial drug substance manufacturing. In 2023, we added additional cGMP clinical production capacity in Milpitas, CA and in 2025, we are expanding into Montana as a result of SB535. Why this role exists A high‑velocity founder with multiple ventures needs a switch‑hitting operator who can turn on/off across businesses, translate ideas into plans, and keep execution tight. You’ll be the portfolio PMO, a force‑multiplier who thrives in ambiguity and high tempo. What you’ll own Portfolio switchboard: Stand up the operating rhythm (weekly priorities, risk logs, decision memos) and drive outcomes across a small set of live initiatives in healthcare, a Montana‑based biotech effort, a Bay Area nonprofit, hospitality, real estate, and a long‑term public‑service objective. Project management: Convert strategy to roadmaps, owners, dates, and dashboards. Unblock fast; escalate early. Founder interface: Work directly with the founder—anticipate needs, filter noise, and push back respectfully when plans or scope drift. Vendors & partners: Source, brief, and manage agencies, law/finance partners, and vendors; track deliverables and SLAs. Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion; manage communications cadence (internal/external). You might be a fit if you… Have 5–10 years across ops, strategy, or product/PM, ideally with life science exposure. Have founder/early‑stage DNA (unsuccessful founders welcome). You’ve built processes from scratch, and shipped. Are EQ‑forward and unflappable. You can match a direct, high‑urgency style while staying calm and candid. Communicate crisply; you write excellent 1‑page memos and manage up with structured pushback. Can context‑switch fast and still land details (budgets, contracts, Gantt, risks). Nice to have Experience with hospital systems, clinical programs, or foreign affairs; non‑profit program ops; hospitality or real‑estate project work. Comfort working with counsel on compliance and communications. Medical, dental, and vision insurance (Kaiser HMO or BlueShield PPO. Employer pays 90% for Employee and 75% for Employee’s family; Dental: Aetna Dental, Delta Dental, Guardian Dental, MetLife Dental. Vision: VSP and Aetna EyeMed) Basic life ($20,000 paid by company) and supplemental life insurance (optional supplemental). Disability insurance 50% standard employer paid. 401k 10% 1:1 match PTO policy. 10 days PTO Companywide paid holiday during: Week of July 4, Thanksgiving (2 days), Week of December 25 Carpool, clean air vehicle, and cell phone reimbursement Employee rewards and recognition program Company organized social events Quarterly sponsored team building activities
