Description About the Role We’re seeking a dynamic and highly organized Chief of Staff to partner directly with our CEO and executive team. This is a high-impact role where you’ll act as a trusted thought partner to the CEO—helping to prioritize initiatives, align leadership around company goals, and ensure accountability across teams. You’ll manage the operating cadence of the business, from weekly exec meetings to quarterly planning, while also leading special projects that cut across Product, Media, Finance, Tech, and Operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment, is comfortable wearing multiple hats, and has the judgment to act as a proxy for the CEO in high-stakes settings. You’ll balance strategy with execution—translating big-picture goals into structured plans, concise briefs, and clear accountability. This is a hybrid position based in Buckhead, Atlanta. You’ll work in-office Tuesday-Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Monday and Friday, plus flexibility for key meetings or events. Key Responsibilities Operate as a trusted partner and sounding board to the CEO, anticipating needs and aligning priorities across the org. Manage and optimize the CEO’s time: build daily priority digests, prepare pre-read packets, and ensure meetings are set up with the right context. Act as a proxy in key meetings, capturing decisions, clarifying expectations, and drafting follow-ups the CEO can approve or delegate. Draft concise communication: memos, strategy updates, and one-page executive summaries that clarify intent and drive alignment. Coordinate the executive team: sit in on standups, log decisions, track follow-ups, and hold teams accountable to OKRs and deliverables. Lead the operating cadence: prepare and facilitate exec meetings, weekly standups, quarterly planning, and company all-hands with structured agendas and clear outcomes. Advance cross-functional projects: step in as interim owner or project manager on high-priority initiatives until they are scaled or staffed. Monitor and track progress: flag bottlenecks, risks, and ensure timely course corrections across leadership initiatives. What a Day in the Life Might Look Like 9:00–10:30am: Morning Prep & Leadership Sync — Review overnight updates, industry news, and internal priorities. Build a short daily digest for the CEO with the top 3–5 things to know. Join leadership standups to capture key decisions, log action items, and clarify priorities where needed. 10:30am–12:30pm: Partner Call Prep & Support — Draft pre-read materials with key data points and strategic angles. Join external calls to take structured notes, extract next steps, and draft follow-up communications the CEO can quickly approve. 12:30–1:30pm: Midday Debrief — Quick check-in over lunch with the CEO to review the morning, flag emerging issues, and prep for the afternoon. 1:30–3:00pm: Cross-Functional Project Work — Push forward high-priority initiatives that cut across teams—ensuring stakeholders are unblocked, deadlines are clear, and risks are surfaced. 3:00–5:00pm: Internal Alignment & Wrap-Up — Meet 1:1 with executives to review OKRs, track progress on strategic initiatives, and translate CEO strategy into tactical “what success looks like” documents. Prepare materials for exec reviews and close the day with a summary of what was decided, what needs escalation, and what the CEO should focus on tomorrow. Requirements Must-Have Qualifications 5–10 years of experience in consulting, operations, or leadership in a high-growth company. Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-moving environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort navigating financial and performance metrics. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; can distill complexity into clear, concise narratives. Highly organized with a track record of building and maintaining accountability frameworks. Strong judgment, discretion, and executive presence to represent the CEO internally and externally. Ability to thrive in ambiguity, pivot quickly, and drive clarity across competing priorities. Nice-to-Have Skills Prior Chief of Staff or equivalent senior operating position. MBA or other advanced degree. Familiarity with performance marketing, ad-tech, or data-driven growth businesses. Experience designing or managing OKRs and operating rhythms at a senior leadership level. Background in project incubation—launching and scaling new initiatives inside fast-growth companies.
