The Role This is not a traditional Chief of Staff role. You will operate as an extension of the CEO and CFO embedded across every critical function of the company. This role is designed for individuals who want to accelerate into senior leadership by working directly on the highest leverage problems in a high growth fintech. You will drive execution across strategy, operations, finance, partnerships, and people. You will see how a venture backed credit platform is built from capital formation to underwriting to product expansion and play a central role in shaping it, all while receiving a comprehensive education in venture capital and private equity. What You’ll Do Executive Leverage & Strategic Execution Partner directly with the CEO and CFO to drive company priorities and ensure alignment across teams Translate strategic initiatives into executable plans with clear owners, timelines, and KPIs Lead cross functional projects spanning lending, product, operations, and go to market Prepare board materials, investor updates, and strategic analyses Serve as a force multiplier removing bottlenecks and driving accountability across the organization Go to Market & Partnerships Support business development efforts including partner outreach, follow ups, and pipeline management Build and refine marketing materials, pitch decks, and product positioning Analyze market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and pricing strategies Help design scalable processes for originating and onboarding borrowers and partners People, Culture & Infrastructure Own key HR and administrative functions: Benefits selection and administration Performance review cycles and compensation processes Employee onboarding and offboarding Background checks and compliance processes Maintenance of employee handbook and internal policies Manage vendor relationships, insurance programs, and contractor payments Oversee expense approvals and internal financial controls Operating System & Internal Scale Design and improve internal systems, dashboards, and reporting infrastructure Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable processes across the organization Drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating rhythms (OKRs, leadership meetings, reporting cadence) Ensure high quality communication and information flow across the company Support loan operations, underwriting workflows, and portfolio monitoring processes Why This Role Direct access to founders and full visibility into company building at a Series A fintech Broad exposure to venture capital, capital markets, product, and operations Opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and grow into a senior leadership role Work on complex, high impact problems at the intersection of finance and technology Join a team with deep domain expertise and a track record of building and scaling platforms What We’re Looking For Background 3 - 5 years of experience in top tier management consulting and/or investment banking MBA strongly preferred Experience in venture capital or private equity is preferred, but not required Exposure to structured finance, private credit, or fintech is a plus Skill Set Exceptional analytical and problem-solving ability Strong financial modeling and strategic thinking capabilities High attention to detail with the ability to operate at both high and low levels of abstraction Excellent written and verbal communication skills (board level materials, investor narratives) Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment Operating Style High ownership mindset; operates with urgency and accountability Structured thinker who can bring clarity to ambiguous problems Low ego, high output; willing to engage across strategy and execution Strong interpersonal skills; able to influence without authority Comfortable operating in a startup environment with evolving priorities Compensation Competitive salary + meaningful equity participation Benefits package including health, dental, and vision, 401k Opportunity to participate in the upside of a rapidly scaling platform Summary This role is designed for individuals who want to compress years of learning into one.
