Description

• Responsible to operate DP system as per operation requirement • Responsible for the continual on –duty – scheme in the DP control room. • Ensure that all DP system data are recorded. • Carry out the set up of the DP system operating parameters. • Assist in performing maintenance on DP equipments • Carry out frequent inspection on DP system sensors, computers and references. • Should be familiar and implement IMCA requirements related to DP system. • Responsible that the JDPO is well trained & capable of handling DP system.

Responsibilities

Responsible for operating and maintaining the Dynamic Positioning (DP) system and ensuring all operational data is recorded. The role includes managing the DP control room scheme and training Junior DP Officers.
