Description AdaptX is seeking a Chief Operating Officer. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and a strategic partner to the CEO. This hands-on leader will be responsible for building and integrating operational processes across AdaptX. The COO will own AdaptX’s operating cadence, ensuring the company runs with clarity, accountability, and follow-through. The COO will own direct management of AdaptX’s Commercial, Solutions, and Engineering departments, ensuring these teams operate in tight alignment and deliver consistently against company goals. This person will partner closely with the CEO to translate vision into action, build scalable processes, and create a culture of accountability, transparency, and momentum. Key Responsibilities Partner with the CEO and executive team to define and execute the company’s strategic plan and long-term vision. Serve as the CEO’s execution partner, translating strategic direction into operational plans and ensuring consistent follow through across the organization. Directly manage AdaptX’s Commercial, Engineering and Solutions teams, creating a more unified operating model with clear handoff and shared accountability. Build and refine day-to-day workflows across Commercial, Engineering and Solutions. Step into bottleneck areas personally—running standups, clearing blockers, and ensuring teams deliver. Create and maintain the company’s operating cadence: weekly leadership meetings, KPI reviews, and cross-team syncs. Translate company priorities into clear weekly, monthly, quarterly execution plans with defined owners and measurable outcomes. Drive operational excellence across all departments, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability. Drive clarity in role, responsibilities, and decision ownership across teams. Translate strategic goals into actionable plans, operational frameworks, and measurable outcomes. Build and lead processes that unify AdaptX core teams (Commercial, Engineering, Solutions) into a cohesive operating rhythm. Establish clear communication channels and integrated planning cycles across teams. Ensure seamless handoffs and collaboration across the customer lifecycle—from pre-sales through delivery and ongoing support. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve speed, quality, and predictability. Lead planning processes, ensuring alignment of resources, priorities, and execution plans. Build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams. Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. Strengthen leadership capabilities across the organization through coaching, structure, and clear expectations. Serve as an operational liaison to the Board of Directors, providing clear updates and insights. Create a culture where commitments are explicit, visible and reliably delivered. Partner with Finance, HR, and Legal to ensure compliance, risk management, and operational integrity. Requirements Qualifications 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including senior operational roles in high-growth technology and healthcare environments. Proven success leading cross-functional teams and scaling operations in a fast-paced company. Demonstrated ability to design and implement operational processes that drive alignment and execution. Exceptional leadership, communication, and people-management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a bias toward action and measurable outcomes. High integrity, strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative leadership style. The base salary range for this role is between $180,000 and $250,000, depending on experience.
