Position Summary The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a key member of CFHC’s senior leadership team, responsible for directing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO ensures that all non-provider clinical, facilities, and risk management functions operate efficiently to support the delivery of exceptional, patient-focused care. This position plays a vital role in driving operational excellence, fostering collaboration, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of CFHC’s operations, including medical, dental, and behavioral health services. Ensure efficient patient flow, high-quality care, and customer satisfaction across all service areas. Develop and implement systems for monitoring operational performance and reporting results. Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and senior leadership to meet and exceed clinical and patient care goals. Maintain regulatory compliance, licensure, and accreditation for all operational areas. Build strong relationships with community organizations to enhance existing programs and develop new initiatives. Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and program development, including grant applications. Lead, mentor, and evaluate departmental leadership to foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Work Environment & Schedule Hybrid work model: Three days on-site, two days remote (subject to organizational needs). Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required. Requirements Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Health, Health Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive management experience in healthcare operations, preferably within a community health or ambulatory care setting. Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare administration principles and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
