Code Ninjas BC is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to oversee our 10 locations across British Columbia, ensuring consistent growth, streamlined operations, and innovative program development. All of our centres have opened in the last three years — with roughly half under two years old — offering significant growth potential and the opportunity to earn substantial commission through our uncapped 5% of quarterly year-over-year growth model. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll work closely with ownership to shape the future of kids’ coding education in Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across 10 locations, ensuring alignment with company goals, SOPs, and brand standards.
  • Conduct monthly visits to each location to review performance, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and develop Centre Directors (primarily part-time student staff) into high-performing leaders.
  • Monitor and improve each centre’s CRM usage, parent communications, and follow-through on operational tasks.
  • Identify staffing gaps, lead recruitment efforts, and provide onboarding and leadership coaching for new hires.
  • Spearhead the development and launch of new programs, such as robotics, AI, and advanced coding clubs.
  • Standardize operational procedures to create a scalable, high-quality customer experience.
  • Collaborate on regional marketing initiatives, ensuring campaigns are aligned with revenue growth targets.
  • Analyze centre-level KPIs and financials, proactively addressing underperformance.
  • Report directly to ownership, offering data-driven recommendations and executing strategic plans.
