Responsibilities

Treasury
· Meet with bankers and financial executives as required
Certifications
· Acquire and maintain Company Certifications to include:
o State - Licensing, Qualification/Requalification (DAS/DOT)
o Federal – SBA Qualification/Requalification
o Insure renewals of salesperson CT licensing
o Hire consultants as required
Legal
· Contract reviews (Customer, Vendor, Subcontractor)
· Lease reviews and execution
· Review commercial tenant proposals
· Facilitate attorney correspondence/activities (Ie. litigation, eviction)
· Stay informed on changes in CT housing laws
· Form State LLC’s as required (including Fed. EIN’s)
· Facilitate filing of annual State Corporate reports
· Interface with Attorneys and Ownership to address potential and existing legal matters
· Arrange for property closings agreements/funding according to schedule
· Attend Attorney meetings, arbitration hearings and court proceedings as required
· Contact customers prior to initiation of legal collection actions
Operations
· Manage Credit Card Programs (AMEX, WEX, Etc.).
· Contract with a Safety Consultant to improve all operational safety and bring the Atlas Companies into compliance
· Interface with external agencies as necessary to resolve matters
· Arrange quarterly safety meetings and inspections/training as required
· Review/Hire/Terminate Property Managers and Agents for Property LLC’s
· Understand current Residential Apartment markets and Commercial Office markets in Connecticut
· Address Customer issues as required
Technology
· Maintain relationship with Crown Castle for fiber optic services into building
· Manage contract with CVM for VOIP Network phone System for Branford Headquarters
· Maintain local Consulting relationship with an Expert IT Engineering Firm
Maintain Residential fence electronic contract (PANDA)
· Review and approve annual software contract renewals
Human Resources
· Responsible for signing all job offer letters
· Payroll processing by others for all operating units (weekly funding)
· Interpreting labor laws and effect on operations as required
· Approving/Scheduling Departmental vacations while ensuring working staff levels
· Monitor and ensure compliance for company 401(k) plan, to include brokers & TPA’s
