Are you able to lead the construction of a large pipeline of Utility Scale Renewables projects? Have you got a strong network within the European Energy industry? If so, please read on.

THE PERSON

The successful candidate will likely have:

  • Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • 4+ years’ experience as COO, EPC Director or Vice president within Renewable Energy (Solar PV, Onshore wind, BESS – Battery Storage).
  • Proven experience of overseeing the construction of a Multi-GW+ pipeline.
  • The ability to recruit, lead, and drive results from a high-performing team.
  • A strong commercial knowledge within Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), risk management and contractual negotiations.
  • Be able to solve complex problems, Engage, Lead, motivate and inspire teams to success

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As COO some of the duties will be to:

  • Develop and implement 3-5 year strategy in line with the executive management team
  • Build up local organisation, Recruit and implement training and development across the organisation
  • Provide management and leadership to Europe and IPP business unit and staff
  • Hold P&L responsibility, drive successful results & growth
  • Structure the local organisation, projects, and joint ventures for maximum effect
  • Develop relationships with Utilities, OEM suppliers and contractors for JV or consortium partnerships
  • Report financial results to Global management and sit on regional board Management team
