Description
IBMC is assisting our client in hiring a Group COO to unify and scale operations across their entities in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Indonesia. The role is responsible for building the group’s operating system end-to-end: standardizing processes, implementing automation and ERP/SaaS tools, tightening cross-country coordination, and ensuring every function operates with clear KPIs, accountability, and visibility. This position requires a senior operator who understands SaaS-style workflows, multi-entity management, and the operational realities of fintech or prop trading environments. Key Responsibilities Strategic & Operational Leadership Translate the group’s strategic vision into measurable operational frameworks and goals. Define and manage group-wide KPIs and OKRs aligned with growth and performance objectives. Lead operational planning, forecasting, and execution to support group expansion. Conduct full process audits across Group companies to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Proactive Risk & Scalability Management Continuously assess whether current processes, structures, and systems can withstand the next stage of growth. Identify bottlenecks before they escalate into operational issues and propose mitigation plans. Build a forward-looking risk framework that anticipates scaling constraints across YPF and FYFX. Drive preventive actions to avoid growth disruptions and maintain operational stability. Process Optimization & SOP Development Design, document, and roll out Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all major operational domains — onboarding, customer success, marketing, HR, finance, and development. Establish and enforce consistent operational standards across both entities. Continuously monitor adherence to SOPs and drive updates as systems evolve. Systems Integration & ERP Implementation Research and evaluate potential ERP or operational management systems to unify workflows, data, and reporting across entities. Lead ERP vendor selection, cost-benefit analysis, and implementation planning. Oversee integration of CRM, finance, HR, and trading systems into a single operational infrastructure. Ensure automation of key reporting functions and build real-time operational dashboards. Cross-Entity Collaboration Align Singapore (YPF), Hong Kong (FYFX), and Indonesia (support/ops) functions under a unified structure. Standardize communication, reporting, and escalation procedures. Drive coordination between YPF and FYFX teams to maximize operational synergy. Financial & Administrative Oversight Collaborate with the CFO to control operational costs and track efficiency ROI. Introduce operational cost tracking and resource utilization metrics. Oversee contract execution and invoicing processes at a group level, ensuring compliance and timeliness. People Leadership & Culture Build and mentor a high-performing operations and mid-management team. Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. Support HR with workforce planning, training, and team development aligned with group goals. Executive Collaboration Partner with the CEO and CFO on strategic planning, risk management, and operational budgeting. Provide data-driven insights and performance analysis to guide decision-making. Support due diligence and investor relations with operational reporting and risk assessments. KPIs ERP system researched, selected, and implemented within agreed timeframe and budget Group-wide SOP coverage and adoption rate Operational efficiency gains (turnaround time, cost-to-revenue ratio, process automation) Cross-entity reporting consistency and KPI visibility Team productivity, accountability, and satisfaction Achievement of group OKRs and operational targets Client onboarding cycle time Reduction of backlog Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Operations, or Systems Management. 8–12 years’ experience in operations, preferably within SaaS, fintech, or prop trading. Proven experience in ERP evaluation and implementation, process re-engineering, and SOP design. Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Experience leading multi-country or multi-entity operations. Demonstrated ability to manage change and drive measurable performance improvement. Location Requirement: This is a Bali-based position. Competitive salary and benefits package. A pivotal role in the growth and success of a dynamic fintech group. Collaborative and supportive work environment where your ideas are valued.
