As Pangaea Data’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will be a crucial part of the management team and responsible for scaling Pangaea Data’s core business, driving strategic initiatives and overseeing its daily operations, to ensure they are running efficiently. As COO you will work closely with the CEO to define long-term organizational strategies, set measurable goals, and ensure sustainable growth.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years proven experience as a COO or in a similar senior operational leadership role with a focus on operations and marketing preferably in healthtech, digital health, or healthcare
  • Experience with scaling up companies, ideally in the healthcare or healthtech sector
  • Ability to think strategically as well as understand operations in detail
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data into clear actionable steps
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building stakeholder relationships
  • Experience in fast-paced and rapidly evolving start-up organizations

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As Pangaea Data’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will be a crucial part of the management team and responsible for scaling Pangaea Data’s core business, driving strategic initiatives and overseeing its daily operations, to ensure they are running efficiently. As COO you will work closely with the CEO to define long-term organizational strategies, set measurable goals, and ensure sustainable growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that all the teams (marketing, technical, biomedical and commercial etc) are aligned with the company’s strategic goals
  • Executing on Pangaea’s global expansion strategy across operations, products and new markets
  • Cultivating and managing relationships with key stakeholders
  • End-to-end project management on top business priorities including identifying opportunities, scoping projects, and driving rapid cross-functional implementation
  • Process development and improvement, particularly for operations at scale
  • Supporting strategic goal setting and performance management
  • Creating and maintaining existing processes, workflows, and organizational tools
  • Anticipating challenges before they arise and using your initiative to problem solve in daily operations
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
