The Greater Wichita Partnership is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Operations Officer (COO) to help drive internal operations and long-term organizational success. Reporting directly to the President and serving as a key member of the senior leadership team, the COO will oversee internal operations, investor relations, communications alignment, HR and finance coordination, and cross-functional strategy execution.   • Willingness to travel locally and occasionally internationally

Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Lead and coordinate internal operations across departments
  • Facilitate board and committee operations and provide strategic support to the President
  • Manage fund development and investor engagement strategies
  • Supervise and support staff in communications, investor relations, and office management
  • Oversee financial, HR, facilities, and IT functions through staff and consultants
  • Assist with government and community relations, including high-visibility events
  • Advance organizational priorities around economic development, talent, and quality of place
