Position: Chief Operations Officer

Job Summary:
The Chief Operations Officer (COO) is a senior executive responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the bank. This role is critical to the bank’s success, ensuring that all operational processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with the bank’s strategic goals. The COO will lead a diverse team of professionals across various departments, including Branch Operations, Deposit Operations, and Treasury Management. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record of optimizing business processes, managing risk, and driving operational excellence in a financial institution.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree in business, finance, or a related field is strongly preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in banking operations, including a senior leadership role, is preferred.
Proven experience managing multiple operational functions within a financial institution.
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, budget management, and operational P&L responsibility.
Extensive knowledge of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management principles.
Skills:
Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization.
Superior communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of the financial services industry.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Proficiency in financial software and core banking systems.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
Ability to lift to 25 pounds occasionally.
Manual dexterity to operate office equipment, including computers and cash counters.
Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing.
Work Environment:
