Seeking Chief for Department of Radiology at Prestigious Children’s Hospital in Miami Nicklaus Children's Hospital, a 325-bed freestanding children's hospital and ACS-verified Level 1 pediatric trauma center based in Miami, Florida, and Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists, the physician multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children's Health System, are seeking an exceptional candidate to lead the Department of Radiology. Position Overview The Section Chief is responsible for setting the strategy and providing leadership for the Radiology Department at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, including the physicians employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists who provide pediatric radiology services. In addition to the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital main campus near Coral Gables, Florida, imaging services are conducted at 15 locations throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. The ideal candidate will be board certified and fellowship trained in Pediatric Radiology with dynamic leadership experience. In addition, Nicklaus Children’s has achieved ACR accreditation in Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound. Our academic affiliation is with Florida International University (FIU). This position includes a faculty appointment at FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.
