DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• RYA Powerboat Instructor qualification
• STCW 95 certification
• Driving License
• Previous experience in a supervisory role
• Additional maritime qualifications
• Experience working with children and young people in an educational setting
• Understanding of international school environments and cultures

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chief/Senior Sailing Instructor to lead our sailing program and deliver exceptional training to students of all levels. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified instructor to take on a leadership role within our prestigious international school environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the school’s sailing instruction program
• Deliver high-quality sailing courses and training to students
• Ensure all activities meet RYA standards and international school safety protocols
• Develop age-appropriate sailing curricula for different student levels
• Supervise and mentor junior sailing instructors and support staff
• Maintain boats, equipment and marina facilities to the highest standards
• Coordinate with school management and parents regarding student progress
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for all sailing activities
• Organize and oversee inter-school sailing competitions and regattas
• Support the school’s broader co-curricular program objectives
