Responsibilities

As the Leidos UK Chief Solution Architect you will provide technical leadership and Solution Architecture services into the Leidos UK Office of technology. The role covers five key areas:

The role covers five key areas:

  • Provide solution oversight and assurance for all major captures.
  • Act as solution architect lead for all Internal research and development (IRAD) investments providing guidance to Principal Investigators and helping to ensure IRAD is executed in a way it can be quickly adopted by target programmes.
  • Maintain the technical strategy for Leidos in the UK.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of TechRadars; a tool to help select preferred and proven technologies within logically organised categories, promoting reuse and reducing the level of training required.
  • Work with programmes during mobilisation to identify solution elements that are valuable and should be captured and stored in our knowledge repository, LeidoScope, for reuse.

The successful candidate is expected to have broad knowledge of a large range of technical capabilities and technologies including hardware, software, AI & Data, networks, cloud, IT services and cyber security.
