To lead the development and execution of the corporate strategy for EMARAT, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and objectives. The Chief Strategy & Growth Officer will oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives, manage cross-departmental collaboration, and drive innovation and transformation to support the company's growth and operational efficiency. Strategic & Managerial Responsibilities: Drive the development of Emarat’s vision, mission & strategy, and ensure that departmental objectives are aligned with Emarat’s short, medium, and long-term goals to enhance organizational effectiveness and service delivery. Promote innovative strategies to optimize costs, enhance efficiency, and provide support across all internal functions. Maximize digitalization capabilities while ensuring healthy performance and nurturing a culture of collaboration. Lead the co-creation of strategic plans with business units, ensuring that they are equipped to execute initiatives effectively. Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the overall mission and objectives of the organization. Act as the primary Strategy & Growth spokesperson for the organization, communicating performance and strategic direction to shareholders, the board of directors, and external stakeholders. Direct the delegation of authority hierarchy and determine roles and responsibilities to ensure effective management and continuity of operations in the event of personnel changes. Core Responsibilities: Develop & oversee the different strategic tracks, such as corporate strategy development and execution, 5-year business plan formulation to drive organizational growth and transformation. Monitor and track the progress of strategic initiatives using a balanced scorecard to measure success and impact. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure that departmental strategies are aligned with the overarching organizational goals. Involve in business development activities, including developing and executing growth strategy, exploring and leading merger and acquisition (M&A) opportunities, and driving internationalization and expansion into new markets. Oversee the development and refinement of systems, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Drive the execution and acceleration of strategic initiatives and targeted results, including providing monthly P&L reporting to track EBITDA targets. Ensure that the organization is responsive to changes in the business environment by regularly reviewing and updating policies and procedures. Drive the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations into the organization’s strategic framework. Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure that strategic initiatives are understood and supported throughout the organization. Benchmark organizational performance against industry standards to identify areas for improvement and best practices. Establish and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives and overall organizational performance. Present strategic reports to the board and senior leadership, providing insights on progress and outcomes of initiatives. Engage with external stakeholders, including consultants and the Emirates Investment Authority, to align on strategic objectives and initiatives. Ensure that the organization’s strategic direction is effectively communicated to all levels of the organization, promoting buy-in and engagement. Actively participate as an investment voting member to shape final decision-making. Quality & Excellence Management: Oversee the development and implementation of Strategy & Growth operation quality standards and excellence initiatives, ensuring alignment with Emarat’ goals & fostering continuous improvement. Monitor progress and performance against the set KPIs to ensure monthly and annual targets are met and take corrective actions in case of deviations. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations and prepare ad-hoc and required audit reports, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices and legal requirements in the UAE. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization to adapt to evolving market conditions. People Management Responsibilities: Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, encouraging employees to pursue professional growth and skill enhancement opportunities. Act as a role model to ensure employees’ awareness and commitment to Emarat’s vision, mission, values, fundamentals and corporate strategy to establish a highly engaged and motivated team. Ensure that all direct reports have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities in executing the overall strategy. Facilitate open discussions and provide necessary resources to empower them to align their efforts with the Emarat's strategic objectives. Identify high-potential employees within the department and communicate career opportunities and plans to ensure engagement. Promote employee engagement initiatives within the Strategy & Growth operations team to enhance job satisfaction, motivation, and performance.
