POSITION SUMMARY

The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) is a visionary, entrepreneurial leader responsible for driving SFRC’s growth in revenue, program impact, and brand equity. This role leads the development and execution of strategies that expand SFRC’s public and private funding, enhance visibility and influence, and accelerate innovation across programs. The CSO thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments and works cross-functionally to operationalize big ideas while strengthening the organization’s strategic positioning.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years in senior strategy, development, or growth roles, ideally within healthcare, behavioral health, or mission-driven organizations
• Demonstrated success securing and managing state, federal, and foundation funding
• Experience with value-based contracting or working with MCOs is strongly preferred
• Proven ability to lead high-impact marketing, communications, and visibility campaigns
• Strong writing, storytelling, and interpersonal communication skills
• Comfort working in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments with high expectations
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, matrixed leadership environment
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Public Administration, Business, Public Health, or related field preferred
