POSITION SUMMARY

As we continue our expansion, we are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead and standardize IT governance across our hotels, ensuring cost-efficient, secure, and scalable technology infrastructure across our hotels. The CTO will be responsible for IT strategy, cybersecurity, system integrations, and compliance with data protection regulations, playing a pivotal role in structuring Aethos’ technology landscape.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • 5-10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, ideally within hospitality, real estate, or multi-brand environments.
  • Proven experience in IT strategy development, infrastructure scaling, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of data security, GDPR compliance, and IT governance.
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions, CRM integrations, and hospitality technology stacks.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex IT topics in clear, business-friendly terms.
  • Solution-oriented, proactive, and able to balance strategic and hands-on responsibilities.
  • Highly organized and adaptable in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Experience managing IT budgets and ensuring cost-effective technology solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a group-wide IT strategy, ensuring efficient IT governance, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
  • Oversee and standardize phone systems, WiFi networks, and data security across our hotels.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
  • Streamline IT operations and consolidate technology budgets to prevent excessive costs while maintaining efficiency.
  • Lead the selection, implementation, and integration of key software tools across hotels, such as CRM systems, procurement platforms, and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Establish IT policies and best practices for user access management, email security, and software administration.
  • Manage and enhance cybersecurity protocols, preventing data breaches and strengthening overall IT resilience.
  • Work closely with brand leadership, finance, and legal teams to align IT investments with business objectives.
  • Lead the recruitment and development of IT support teams, ensuring hotels receive the necessary technical support.
