SUMMARY:
Provide executive leadership for all Information Technology (IT) Systems at Louisville Water. This role directs comprehensive information management, including strategic and tactical planning, budgeting, business process re-engineering, and database system strategy. As a member of Louisville Water’s Board of Water Works (BOWW) and Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the CTO/CIO develops and leads enterprise-wide technology strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring customer and user needs are met cost-effectively and efficiently. This position champions a culture of innovation, creative problem-solving, and continuous improvement across all departments.
The CIO leads and directs information services teams, fosters collaboration across all levels of staff, and serves as the primary spokesperson for information management issues. The role explores modern technologies for future planning and implementation, and interfaces with industry peers and other local, state, and national agencies on information management and technology matters.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
Ten (10) years of experience in Information Technology, Information System, or a related field.
Seven (7) years of Information Technology management experience.
Valid driver’s license.
