CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER (CTO) – POLITICAL TECHNOLOGY STARTUP (FOUNDING TEAM)

We are a mission-driven political technology startup building the next generation of tools to strengthen civic engagement and expand democratic participation. We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join as a founding team member and lead the technical vision, architecture, and execution of our platform.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As CTO, you will be responsible for building and scaling our web and mobile applications from the ground up. You will set the technical roadmap, recruit and lead a high-performing engineering team, and work closely with the CEO and other founding team members to shape the company’s long-term vision. This is a unique opportunity to join at the earliest stage, with significant equity and decision-making influence.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Define the technical strategy, architecture, and stack for our core products
• Build and scale mobile and web applications for civic engagement
• Lead product development from concept to launch, balancing speed with scalability
• Recruit, mentor, and manage the engineering team as we grow
• Partner with the CEO and founding team on product strategy and fundraising
• Ensure technical excellence, security, and scalability across all platforms
