Licensing: Valid DHA licence or eligibility to practise in Dubai

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment for children and adolescents. The role requires a clinician who combines strong medical expertise with a compassionate, family-centred approach.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of children and adolescents.

- Diagnose and manage a broad range of psychiatric and neurodevelopmental conditions.

- Develop individualised treatment plans, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.

- Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects and clinical progress.

- Work closely with parents and caregivers to provide psychoeducation and treatment guidance.

- Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, assessment specialists and other healthcare professionals.

- Provide risk assessment and appropriate management of safeguarding, self-harm and other clinical concerns.

- Maintain comprehensive and confidential medical records.

- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and clinical reviews.

- Support continuity of care through appropriate follow-up and referrals.

Requirements

- Medical degree with recognised specialist qualification in Psychiatry, with appropriate Child & Adolescent Psychiatry training/experience.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant post-specialisation clinical experience.

- Valid DHA licence or eligibility.

- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.

- Experience managing children and adolescents with complex presentations.

- Excellent communication with children, families and multidisciplinary teams.

- Commitment to evidence-based and ethical psychiatric practice.

Preferred: Experience with ADHD, autism spectrum conditions, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, behavioural disorders and adolescent mental health.

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
