Description Turnwell Mental Health of Alpharetta, GA seeks the services of a compassionate Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to work on a PRN basis with our growing mental health team. We provide comprehensive patient-oriented care to address mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, ADHD, schizophrenia, and more. The ideal candidate will possess a strong psychopharmacology and behavioral health background, with experience in outpatient and inpatient settings. The role requires a fellowship-trained provider in child and adolescent psychiatry with experience in providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients, including those with developmental disabilities and addiction issues. Requirements Working in an outpatient setting, this physician will develop and maintain protocols and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Physician will have a flexible, self-determined schedule, with no call responsibilities. Responsibilities include: Psychiatric evaluations for medication management Follow-up medication management appointments Appointment times are flexible and based on provider preference, but generally 40 min intakes, 20 min follow-ups for stable patients. Computer literate and experience with Electronic Medical Records; training on Valant provided Additional opportunities available: TMS mapping (training provided) Overseeing ketamine program (training provided) Qualifications: Medical degree (MD or DO) with a specialization in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Board Certified or Board Eligible with plan to take Boards within 3 years. Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology principles and practices. Familiarity with outpatient psychiatric care settings. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations. Commitment to compassionately providing high-quality patient care. Compensation: A PRN 1099 position, compensation will be based on productivity, either percentage of insurance reimbursement or mutually agreed flat rate per visit. License/Certification: License to practice in Georgia (Required)
