Working together with each client from the start point that they are the expert of their internal self. We only hold knowledge on how to guide them intentionally and by placing them at the heart of the process. Holding compassion and understanding for their struggles, challenges and triumphs. As therapists, we stay connected as we guide our clients on their journey. We want to help our clients experience an increased understanding of themselves, find peace within their day and more ease in their life.
Our office is located Uptown at Yonge & Sheppard West.

SKILLS:

  • Registered Masters of Social Worker with OCSWSSW or Registered Psychotherapist with CRPO
  • Strong case management skills to effectively coordinate client care
  • Excellent client care skills, including active listening, empathy, and compassion
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions and treatments
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic clinical setting
  • Familiarity with pediatrics and the unique challenges of providing therapy to young clients
  • Knowledge of special education services and resources for clients with learning disabilities or developmental delays
  • Knowledge of child development, attachment, trauma and its relevant modalities
  • Training in EMDR is an asset
    Job Type: Fixed term contract
    Contract length: 12 months
    Pay: $90.00-$105.00 per hour
