Responsibilities

Access Health and Community (AccessHC) is seeking an experienced Child and Family Leader to support a high-performing trans-disciplinary team of Allied Health Professionals, delivering high-quality, safe, and sustainable services for children (0-12 years) and their families. Reporting to the Senior Manager Child and Family, this leadership role, based in outer Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, focuses on driving team growth, performance excellence, and service innovation across block-funded and consumer-directed care streams. With a strong emphasis on risk management, quality improvement, and integrated care, the Child and Family Manager will foster a thriving, engaged team while ensuring seamless, evidence-based service delivery that meets community needs. What you will be doing Key responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and empower a high performing Allied Health team and support an engaged workforce by championing a person-centred and values-driven culture
  • Monitor and manage service and individual performance targets aligned to organisational objectives and contracts
  • Provide operational management support to team members and ensure appropriate clinical supervision is supported for all staff within the team
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements, including contribution to accreditation activities
  • Work collaboratively with other leaders and teams to identify and implement opportunities for innovation and integration of services to achieve better outcomes

What you will bring Key selection criteria

  • Tertiary qualification in Allied Health 5 years’ experience
  • 2 + years of experience in leadership, management or senior clinician role
  • Expertise in paediatric trans-disciplinary care and funding models
  • Strong leadership, communication and strategic planning skills
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and performance management
