The Child & Family Coordinator (NDIS) is responsible for providing operational coordination and administrative support to staff and clients accessing Royal Far West’s NDIS services.
Working closely with the multidisciplinary clinical teams, the Child & Family Coordinator (NDIS) will play a key role in ensuring services are running smoothly, clients and staff are well supported, and interactions with our clients are of the highest standard.
This is a full time position but could be offered on a part time basis for the right candidate (potentially four days a week or five days a week with shorter working days)
Job Description
Key responsibilities are:
Supporting parents/carers through the intake process as the first point of contact for enquiries.
Liaising with families accessing Royal Far West NDIS services (online or in-person in Manly) to schedule appointments across a team of multidisciplinary clinicians and coordinate referrals, travel arrangements and accommodation where required.
Providing operational support to a team of multidisciplinary health professionals/clinicians.
Developing and managing relationships with parents/carers and external school staff to effectively guide them through Royal Far West’s NDIS services and support service delivery.
Utilising multiple complex operational systems to coordinate client care, schedule appointments and manage daily tasks.
Desired Skills and Experience

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE

A minimum of 3 years experience in a coordination and/or administrative role
High quality customer service skills with the ability to deliver to culturally and socio-economically diverse customers.
The ability to work flexibly and autonomously in a dynamic environment
A demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and maintain a high level of attention to detail
The ability to self-manage and be resilient to multiple stakeholder demands
A proactive and action driven attitude with proven problem-solving skills
The ability to navigate and operate multiple complex computer systems and databases, as well as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A demonstrated ability to exercise judgment, confidentiality, initiative, and diplomacy
