THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our team as a Child and Family Nurse at Figtree Private Hospital. The Child and Family Health Nurse (CFHN) provides family-centred, culturally safe, and developmentally appropriate care to families with children (0–2 years) within a residential early parenting unit. This role involves comprehensive assessment, intervention, health promotion, and education to support parents in achieving optimal child health, development, and family functioning.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Relevant registration with AHPRA as Registered or Enrolled Nurse
• Minimum two (2) years in a hospital based postgraduate role
• Previous experience in Child and Family Nursing or working toward
• Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient
• Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
• Ability to work a flexible rotating roster

REQUIREMENTS

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
