Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), you will provide clinical leadership in the provision of child and family health nursing services for children 0 – 5 years and their families. The role provides expert consultation, including supporting case management of clients with identified psychosocial and/or emotional difficulties which includes the period from conception to an infant up to five years of age.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Providing clinical leadership in child and family health nursing services.
  • Delivering care to families with children aged 0 to 5 years using advanced clinical skills.
  • Offering expert consultation and liaison services for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health consumers.
  • Managing cases involving families from conception to children aged five years.
  • Supporting the mental health and wellbeing of infants and their families through specialised care.
