Child and Family Services Clinical Specialist I Level of Education: Bachelor's Degree required Job Type: Full-Time/Regular Years of Experience: Any Location: Abingdon Job Description The Child and Family Services Clinical Specialist I will provide individualized treatment services, which could include attachment and resiliency-based interventions for services in the home and/or community, that may include Parent/Family Engagement, Intensive In-Home services, as well as Crisis Intervention service delivery. This Clinician position may also provide intensive care coordination or general clinical interventions to children, teens, parents/caregivers, adults, and families. The individual in this position will provide comprehensive casework, which includes both case management and direct clinical services in accordance with established social work principles. The Clinician will support and assist clients and families with personal, family, and social growth, while helping to empower the client and family to the highest level of self-sufficiency. This position will include providing services in the client’s home, in community settings, and office-based settings. Position may also require limited on-call duties, and/or travel to other DePaul locations, as necessary. Experience and Skills The CFS Clinical Specialist I position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a human services field (social work, psychology, counseling, etc.) leading to eligibility for QMHP registration with the Board of Counseling. Experience working with children and families is required. Supervision for licensure/certification may be available for eligible applicants. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
