REQUIREMENTS:

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
• Bachelor’s degree (minimum 90 credits) in Education, Social Work, Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in employment training, workforce development, or adult education.
• Familiarity with Indigenous training initiatives and employment barriers.
• Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (due to the remote location).
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, coordinate, and implement Child and Family Services programs and education-related events.
• Maintain calendars, timelines, and checklists to ensure program deliverables are met.
• Prepare reports, letters, memos, grant tracking sheets, and presentation materials.
• Manage filing systems (electronic and paper) for services and records.
• Coordinate supplies, catering, venues, and transport for events or workshops.
• Support logistics for student services (e.g., tutoring, supplies, cultural activities).
• Support outreach and communications with families, youth, Elders, and community partners.
• Draft content such as internal memos, social media updates, and newsletters.
• Collaborate with other departments and external agencies.
• Compile program statistics and participant data.
• Track and summarize data for quarterly/annual reports.
• Assist with grant reporting by collecting receipts, invoices, and attendance logs.
