ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will provide evidence-based therapy to parents and children experiencing separation and divorce. You will help families manage co-parenting challenges, address parent-child adjustment issues, support emotional regulation, and navigate school-related stress. Additionally, you will facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops, offering families a safe space to connect, learn, and heal together.
This position offers flexibility, with hours ranging between 8–15 per week. We understand that as an independent contractor, you may already have a daytime job, which is why therapeutic sessions can be scheduled during evenings and weekends. This also aligns with the needs of our clients, many of whom work during the day or have children in school and prefer sessions outside of traditional business hours. As we establish our presence in Pickering, initial hours may be lighter while we build our client base.
