Salary: Manager scale ($70,500-$95,000)

Songhees Nation is hiring a Child and Youth Program Manager to provide supervision to program staff, oversee Youth Centre operations, support data-driven planning, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and service providers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post Secondary degree in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Psychology or a related field
  • Certificate in Indigenous Family Support or equivalent
  • Minimum of (2) years’ experience in program delivery and staff supervision
  • Valid class 5 BC driver’s license
  • Clear criminal record check, including the vulnerable sector screening.
Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Child and Family Services (CFS), the Child and Youth Program Manager will support Songhees children, youth and their families.
Duties include, but aren’t limited to:
The Child and Youth Program Manager provides strategic and operational leadership in the design, delivery, and evaluation of culturally grounded, trauma-informed programming for youth ages 11–29. This position is responsible for advancing holistic, community-led initiatives that promote wellness, identity, and resilience among youth and their families.
In alignment with the Nation’s strategic goals, this role provides supervision to program staff, oversees Youth Centre operations, supports data-driven planning, and cultivates relationships with key stakeholders and service providers. The Child and Youth Program Manager ensures consistent delivery of high-quality services that reflect the values, voice, and needs of the Songhees Nation community.
