JOB REQUIREMENTS (QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS):

• Successful completion of a diploma and/or degree from an accredited College and/or University in Social Services, Human Services, Police Foundations, Community and Justice Program, Paramedic or Registered Practical Nursing (RPN) is preferred. A Personal Support Worker Certificates (Eight Months or longer) may also be considered.
• Full-time students presently active in completing their last year of a diploma and/or degree in Social Services, Human Services, or Nursing may be considered.
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours on an as-needed basis including days, evenings, and overnights. ·
• Must be willing to travel as necessary.
• Experience working with children, youth and families is considered an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, organizational and communication skills. Bilingualism (English /French) is an asset.
• Must have a valid Class G driver’s license and use of own vehicle.
