JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Interventionist (BI) to provide personalized support for a child (ages 4–7) with autism and behavioral challenges. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience in roles such as:

  • Behavioral Interventionist
  • Children’s camp/sports coach
  • Nanny or childcare provider

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior plans designed by a Behavioral Consultant
  • Use play-based strategies to encourage positive behaviors and emotional regulation
  • Engage the child in physical activities, sports, and outdoor play when weather permits
  • Support social, emotional, and developmental growth through movement and interactive play
  • Adapt interventions to match the child’s energy level and sensory needs
  • Track progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists for consistent support
  • Maintain session notes and stay informed on best practices

Qualifications:

  • Experience with autism, ADHD, or behavioral challenges
  • Familiarity with behavioral intervention and child development
  • Ability to engage children through active play and movement-based learning
  • Strong observation, data collection, and communication skills
  • Patient, adaptable, and energetic in working with young children
  • Background in psychology, education, or related field (preferred)

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required):

  • Proficiency in Korean, Chinese
  • Ability to play the piano
  • Knowledge of ice hockey or cars
  • Familiarity with ballet
  • Ability to play chess

Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $18.00-$31.94 per hour
